www.21stCenturyParent.com, the website developed for author Debra Haffner's books, goes live today, Monday, March 17, in advance of the April 7 publication of Haffner's new book What Every 21st-Century Parent Needs to Know.

The site features information about and excerpts from Debra Haffner's books published by Newmarket Press, including her latest and the award-winning From Diapers to Dating and Beyond the Big Talk. Author To Address Learning Disabilities Association in Cleveland This Week

Anne Ford, author of the books Laughing Allegra (2003) and On Their Own (2007), will speak about raising children with learning disabilities at the Learning Disabilities Association of Cuhyoga County Benefit in Cleveland, Ohio this Friday, March 14 at 7pm. (Event by invitation only).

Upcoming speaking dates include the Pennsylvania Dyslexia Association in Philadelphia on Friday, April 4 (attendance by invitation) and the Villa Maria School in Stamford, Connecticut on Wednesday, April 9 (reserved for school parents).

Bestselling Puberty Books Picked by NY Public Library

The New York Public Library has selected the new 2007 editions of the bestselling puberty education classics The "What's Happening to My Body?" Book for Girls and The "What's Happening to My Body?" Book for Boys by Lynda Madaras for inclusion on its well regarded "Books for the Teen Age" list for 2008.

The announcement coincides with the upcoming publication of Madaras' newest addition to the series (2 million copies in print): On Your Mark, Get Set, Grow! A "What's Happening to My Body?" Book for Younger Boys (Newmarket Press, April 2008).
